Get the hottest car on the track! The NASCAR body with pre-drilled axle holes and pre-drilled center-of-gravity channel...add cylinder weights and you are ready to smoke the track!
This car includes a pre-drilled 3/8" weight channel in the bottom of the body so you can add zinc, composite, or tungsten 3/8" cylinder weights.
The axle holes are also pre-drilled so you can easily insert your axles.
Note that the car body you receive will have a weight channel in the base of the car and there will be no other drilled holes. The images of this car body will be updated soon!
The NASCAR is cleanly cut. You can give it a light sanding to make it perfectly smooth or paint it as is.
The approximate weight of this car body is 3.6 oz, plus or minus .4 oz.
You will need about .5oz to 1.8 oz extra weight for this car.
We recommend using a sanding sealer base before painting.
The NASCAR has fenders that go over the wheel wells. Fenders are usually allowed in all race rules, but check with your race manager to be sure. The fenders do not extend past the width of the car with the wheels installed.
The block dimensions are 7" long x 2.5" wide x 1.5" high
This car also has drilled axle holes, not axle slots. Again, most race rules allow drilled axles holes, but some require that you use the axle slots.

Kid loved it
This is the second year my oldest went with this body style. It's really well made. Almost no sanding required. He loves it, and I suspect we'll have another one next year

Good Design
This is a great body. I like the fact that the wheels are covered in wheel wells like a real car. Not sticking out like most pinewood cars. Only problem is that the wheel wells are pretty small and the wheels barely fit. I had to sand them out so that the wheels would not scrub when the car is rolling.

Nice Design for a NASCAR
It's been 40+ years since I built my first Pinewood Derby with my father. Now, I'm building them with my son. The Pinewood Pro "NASCAR" is an outstanding cut block, but a little hard to get a great finish.

Good but not quite great!
Excellently cut body. The axle holes were looser than I expected but the axles stayed on fine. This body really needs a raised axle hole. I used pro axles for both my boys cars this year. My other car was based on the pre-cut wedge with raised axle hole. The wedge car with raised axle hole went undefeated. The car with this body finished fourth.

Cool Car Great Detail
This car was a hit ! We painted it competition orange with dbl black racing stripes. Also, found silver stickers for windows. We used Pinewood Pro axles and wheels along with moly blend graphite and only needed to add .25 weight to the car.

Nascar Pre-Cut Car
My son and I painted this car as Juan Montoya?s 42 , red with the target sign on the hood. Added NASCAR decals it looks great. my son won the Best in Show Trophy. I will do another NASCAR just because they look great , ignite a lot of excitement and fun at the derby. Top speed was 3.2 racing against cars doing 3.1

Great foundation!
I started with this block and carved it out more with a Dremel. Great block of wood to start with. The axle slots are straight out of the box.

Great start to a NASCAR themed build!
Lines are nice and crisp, make sure you test-fit your wheels and dremel out the wheel arches - turns out nice with some sanding a few coats of primer -
