Easiest way to make your wheel tread perfectly round and smooth...use a mandrel to mount your wheel on your drill, gently press it against sandpaper to remove the mold mark and make it perfectly true to the center line.

You can also use the mandrel to polish the inner rim, further reducing track friction.
