Tips & Hints
Need a little extra weight on weigh in but didn't bring extra weight with you? Use a coin! Here are the weights of US coins in ounces: penny .11 oz, nickel .17 oz, dime .07 oz, quarter .18 oz
Crooked axle slots are perhaps the number one reason cars crash into the lane guides. Drill the axle slot with a drill press or the PRO Driller to be sure your axles go in straight and are square to the block.
When it comes to Pinewood Derby racing, Rules are not meant to be broken. Check with other racers or your race manager before your race to clarify what is allowed and how your car will be inspected when it is checked in.
