Pinewood Pro’s machined Pinewood Derby axles outperform the official BSA kit axles. We’ve done the work of making an ultra-competitive axle for you with the following upgrades:
Machined to be perfectly round and straight for optimal performance
Polished to eliminate any burrs, scratches, or ridges
Nickel plated for a super-smooth, mirror-like finish
Slightly oversized shaft diameter (0.91" vs BSA 0.88") to reduce wheel wobble
Tapered head to reduce wheel friction
These axles are individually bagged to protect from scratches during shipping. They’re a perfect fit for AWANA Grand Prix wheels, too!
PRO Tip: Axles are nearly the exact dimensions of BSA axles, but they’re machined parts and may not be legal in your race. Always read your race rules and ask your race manager to stay compliant!
