    BSA or PRO axles?

    BSA axles come from the official Scout kit. We hand-select straight axles, remove the burrs and crimp marks, and polish them, with graphite-coated and grooved upgrades. PRO axles are machined and nickel-plated by Pinewood Pro, with grooves that reduce friction and wobble. If your race uses a magnet test, our PRO Magnetic Steel axles are made for it.

    Straight or bent axles?

    Bent axles go into the same axle slot as straight ones. The bend near the head is what does the work: it tilts the wheel so it rides on its edge with less friction, or lets you steer the car. A 1.5° bent axle in the front steers the car, and 2.5° bent axles in the rear cant the wheels.
