The right BSA Pinewood Derby axles can make all the difference when building your car.

Pinewood Pro’s set of four enhanced BSA axles are expertly upgraded using the original axles from the official BSA kit. We’ve made the following tweaks:

• Lathed axle shaft to remove burrs and crimp marks that slow your car

• Polished shaft to reduce friction

• Angled underside of the axle head to reduce wheel contact friction

• Exclusive graphite coating for lubrication and extra speed!

• Note: Outside of the axle head is not coated

• Also note: Only use graphite powder as lubricant. Do not use NyOil!

• Secret groove cut into the shaft for holding graphite, reducing friction

Just slip them in, add graphite powder before the race, and watch your car zoom down the track!

Axles are individually bagged to protect from scratches during shipping. 

PRO Tip: These specific axles are legal in BSA races that allow graphite lubrication. However, rules are different for every race. Always read your race rules and ask your race manager to stay compliant!
