Pinewood Derby Tungsten Canopy Weight | 3.5 oz

Tungsten Pinewood Derby weights help to add mass to your derby car, increasing your car’s speed straight to the podium!

This tungsten canopy weight packs more weight into a smaller area. It’s also 1.7x denser than lead and safer to use. The canopy weighs 3.5 oz. It measures 1-1/8” in width, and 1-1/2” in length.

How to Add a Tungsten Canopy Weight to Your Pinewood Derby Car:

• Drill a 3/8" hole, 1/2" in depth where you’d like to mount the weight

• Apply glue to the mounting stud at the underside of the canopy

• Insert the mounting stud into the drilled hole

• Paint as desired or leave as-is for a cool design element

• We recommend tungsten putty or tungsten spheres to add incremental weight where needed
