Tungsten Pinewood Derby weights help to add mass to your derby car, increasing your car’s speed straight to the podium!
These tungsten cubes pack more weight into a smaller area, giving you greater design freedom. They’re also 1.7x denser than lead and safer to use. The total weight of this set is 2 oz, with each individual cube measuring 1/4" on a side and weighing 0.166 oz (4.8 g).
How to Add Tungsten Weights to Your Pinewood Derby Car:
Drill 1/4" hole(s) in your car where you want your weights
Insert the cubes
Seal the hole(s) with wood putty for a clean, finished look
Alternatively, glue the cubes to the car body. A cool pattern would make a unique design feature!
