Pinewood Pro’s Turbo GT-Style Pre-Shaped Derby Car Body is hot! This pine car meets all derby racing specifications: 7" long x 1.75" wide x 1.25" high. This car includes Pinewood Pro's exclusive Center of Gravity Channel on the bottom of the car for easily sliding 3/8" weights into the channel and moving them with your fingers. This provides the ability to set the center of gravity for optimal speed. Simply position them then add a spot of glue to keep them in place and you'll be flying down the pinewood derby track at maximum speed.
The sleek silhouette of this pre-cut pine derby car makes it completely aerodynamic as it races down the track.
The axle slots of this pre-cut derby car body are strategically pre-drilled so your axles will be perfectly straight, and so you can easily insert your axles with the push of a finger. Straight axles means your car will roll straight. Straight rolling cars are critical for speed!
We did the hard part of cutting and shaping the block for you. Just do some light sanding to smooth the rough spots before painting, applying decals, and placing accessories.
You will need to add your own wheels, axles, and weights of your choice (sold separately) to complete your car.
This derby race car body is made from the Official BSA car block, so it meets all pinewood derby race specifications. Check your race rules to ensure your car is compliant!
