Wheel details:
All four wheels are uniformly processed. No need for mold matching, which is largely disproven as a legitimate advantage!
Precision lathed and tuned across five areas (outside tread, inside tread, rims, outer hub, and back of hub)
All original BSA markings and rim beads left intact
Hub is squared to reduce wobble when wheel touches car body
Rim is cut back slightly for perfect balance
Outside diameter of hub is trued for perfect balance
Wheel dimensions and weight:
Outside diameter: 1.173" +/- 0.003"
Wheel width: 0.368" +/- 0.003"
Tread thickness: 0.0295" +/- 0.002"
Weight of each wheel is reduced by 0.5 g, meaning faster starts from less inertia
You will receive wheels that are either printed with BSA (the pre-2026 design) or OFFICIAL (the new design for 2026) on the outer tread. Both styles are confirmed official and race-legal by Scouting America! The wheel designs are a blind pick and it’s not guaranteed which design you’ll receive. If you’re not happy with your set, it’s covered by our standard free return policy.
Important Note: These specific wheels are visibly thinner than standard BSA wheels and may not be permitted in races that prohibit lathing or removing excessive material. However, rules are different for every race. Always read your race rules and ask your race manager to stay compliant!
